Setting a Watermark to a Document is very simple. The user will need Read and Update security roles in the Document Management module.
The Document Management module can be accessed by pressing the nine squares icon to access Trubox’s drop down navigation menu and click Document Management to open the selection of sub-modules. Select Documents.
In the Document list grid we can access previously created Document records if the desired Document to apply the watermark to has already been created. Click on the “+” icon at the top right of the screen to create a new Document record.
On the new Document record screen we will have to enter the Document Type and a unique Document ID. In the same box as the Document Type ID drop down menu there are two check boxes at the bottom.
You will have to select to “View As PDF” before you can set the “Apply PDF Watermark” checkbox to true. When all the required and pertinent information has been entered into the record click the Floppy Disk icon at the top of the screen to apply the changes and Watermark to this Document.
If you wish to apply a Watermark to a Document Type and every Document created with the associated Document Type ID then you can instead select Document Types from the main navigation menu under Document Management.
You will find that the same two checkboxes are in the Document Type records and the options set in this Document Type record will carry over to any Document created under this Document Type ID.
Note: Accepted filetypes for conversion are: .doc/.docx, .txt, .rtf, .xls/xlsx. .csv, .tsv, .ppt/.pptx, .pdf, .jpg/.jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tif/tiff
